We observed friendly and genuine relationships had developed between people and staff. One person told us, “The staff are kind, I can’t speak highly enough of them”. Care plans described people’s needs and preferences and they were encouraged to be as independent as possible. Medicines were managed safely in accordance with current regulations and guidance.

This includes a separate unit for up to 12 people living with dementia. Forest View Southway, Burgess Hill, RH15 9SU ★★☆☆ Forest View is a large residental home located in Burgess Hill, with a capacity of sixty. The home cares for and supports adults over 65 including people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Upper Mead is a large care home in Henfield housing a maximum of 48 individuals. Upper Mead cares for and supports older individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. The nursing home has been operating for more than four years. We can also provide day care for non-residents or those wishing to spend time with other residents either as a one-off or on a regular basis and to enjoy the facilities and services provided at the home.

Staff demonstrated skill and experience when supporting people.
